Therapy Methods

At Intentional Path Mental Health, we believe that healing is a personal journey, and there’s no one-size-fits-all solution. That’s why we offer a variety of evidence-based therapeutic methods to support you in finding the path that feels right.

Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, or seeking personal growth, our goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore, heal and thrive. Together, we’ll identify the approaches that resonate with you, empowering you to move forward with clarity and confidence.

Clinical Hypnosis

Clinical Hypnosis is a powerful therapeutic technique that uses focused attention, deep relaxation, and guided suggestions to facilitate positive changes in thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

This method taps into the subconscious mind to address challenges such as disordered sleep, chronic pain, anxiety, stress, phobias, and habits like smoking or overeating.

Conducted by trained professionals, clinical hypnosis is safe, collaborative, and tailored to help individuals unlock their inner resources for healing and self-improvement.

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing)

EMDR is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from trauma or distressing experiences.

Using guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation, this method allows the brain to reprocess painful memories and reduce their emotional intensity.

EMDR is particularly effective for conditions like PTSD, anxiety, and phobias, helping clients find relief and build resilience.

CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

CBT is a widely recognized approach that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors.

By addressing how thoughts, emotions, and actions interact, this therapy helps individuals manage conditions such as depression, anxiety, and stress.

With a structured and goal-oriented framework, CBT empowers clients to develop healthier coping mechanisms and achieve lasting personal growth.

ACT (Acceptance & Commitment Therapy)

ACT emphasizes acceptance, mindfulness, and committed action as tools for creating a more meaningful life.

Rather than avoiding difficult emotions, this therapy encourages clients to embrace their feelings and focus on what truly matters.

ACT is effective for addressing issues like chronic pain, anxiety, and stress, guiding individuals toward values-driven living and improved psychological flexibility
